Digital Strategist. Summary of the Position…

We are seeking a digital strategist: someone who is both creative and analytical, with a passion for digital media and marketing. Come and work on projects for some of our emerging markets (cannabis and other innovative businesses) and long-standing clients including 18.8 Vodka, Aurora, Tilray, RBC, Shoppers Drug Mart, SickKids and WE foundations.

Digital Strategist Canada. You should understand the business needs of our clients, the creative ways we tell their stories, and how to connect it all via smart and innovative digital thinking. You should be as comfortable building a plan as you are presenting it. And you should feel at ease with clients, creatives, account people, producers, developers, and everyone in between.

Digital Strategist Canada.You help businesses better reach their target group of customers through the use of techniques like SEO that drive online traffic and business to the website and improve customer conversion.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in digital marketing solutions and be proficient in building targeted social media content strategies, developing SEO strategy, and Google Ads + Analytics as well as Hubspot and Mailchimp newsletter campaigns, to name just a few.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities…

Digital Strategist. Among other things, you will:

·      Help build digital-specific projects and campaigns, varying from content marketing and social channel strategies, to digital customer journeys and technology-driven marketing initiatives.

·  Digital Strategist Canada.. Participate and contribute to long-term digital strategic planning for our clients and their brands, identifying opportunities for solutions and innovation.

·      Guide digital strategy, content and tactics for campaigns and projects, and taking a lead role in digital/social content production

·    Digital Strategist Canada. Coordinate content platforms such as website landing pages and blogs.

·      Suggest or implement improvements in areas like SEO, social media, email marketing, and website design.

·      Improve site Google rankings by adding new keywords, analyzing and optimizing web pages. Implement content development strategy to website and blogs.

·      Gather insights to inform digital strategy, including social listening, consumer behaviour research, and platform usage.

·     Digital Strategist Canada.  Present strategic recommendations confidently to clients and share knowledge with clients and colleagues to help define agency best practices.

·      Work with account and creative teams to expand on briefs and campaign ideas with digital and social tactics that deliver against client objectives.

·      Working knowledge of SEM tools, optimization tactics, testing and web analytics.

·      Basic understanding of programmatic buying (social and display), SEO, website standards, usability testing, and website reporting tools.

·     Digital Strategist Canada.  Ability to use quantitative and qualitative metrics to communicate progress and identify meaningful trends.

·      Help shape digital strategy and tactics for new business pitches.

·      Collaborate with inter-agency partners and vendors; seek out new prospective vendors and external solutions when needed.

·      Foster relationships with leading digital and social platforms (Google, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.) to ensure we are connected to new capabilities and opportunities.
