Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineer – SA. The MEP Engineer will work directly with designers, engineers and project managers to research, evaluate, design and develop electrical and mechanical systems, processes and equipment to meet a wide range of design project requirements.
The candidate must demonstrate a sound understanding of electrical and mechanical design principles and methods as applied to MEP and HVAC systems for industrial, commercial and residential projects.

In addition, the MEP engineer must be knowledgeable about chilled water plants, steam and hot water boiler systems, custom and semi-custom air handling unit design, direct expansion (DX) system design, pumps, duct and air distribution systems, piping systems, and DDC control systems.
Responsibilities include performing field surveys, conducting facility assessments, calculating HVAC and plumbing engineering loads, sizing pipe and duct distribution systems, modeling air flow, proposing fire suppression systems and preparing and reviewing specifications and energy studies.
The MEP Engineer shall hold a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and possess a minimum of 10 years of engineering design experience of which at least 5 years should have been gained working in the Middle East.
The candidate must be conversant in the use of engineering software packages including AutoCAD and REVIT and knowledgeable about relevant local and international standards and codes of practice.
