As an active participant of our HR team, you’ll be someone happy to share your ideas and play a key role in shaping how payroll is performed across our business.
A significant hands on role, you’ll be accountable in achieving accurate and timely preparation of monthly salaries and weekly wages using Datacom payroll system, while ensuring compliance with relevant NZ and Australian legislation.
We have an open plan office environment and you’ll have lots of different questions that come your way relating to all the elements of payroll, therefore you’ll be happy to help provide direction and correct information to assist and also be proactive in heading out to our production team and interacting directly with our Team Leaders and Managers when they need assistance or you need information.
We are open to considering an experienced career dedicated payroll professional looking for a change or candidates who may have two or three years’ experience looking for a new challenge and opportunity to step up.
Highly beneficial to making a success of this role will be your professional and happy nature, proven experience processing end to end waged and salaried payrolls (ideally 400+ staff) and exposure to working with the Datacom payroll system.
You will be armed with strong knowledge of NZ payroll legislation and the Holidays Act and knowledge of the Australian legislation is ideal, however an aptitude for learning is more important. Effective time management and organisational skills are a must, as is the ability to meet critical deadlines.
