Project Management Office (PMO) – Doha, Qatar. In this role you will work within the IT Project Management Office (PMO) with a functional team to ensure the successful execution and implementation of complex IT systems, such as Ecommerce systems and Enterprise Financial systems enhancements.

The right candidate will organize, integrate and drive project plans by working with the various project teams to identify tasks, resources, schedules, dependencies, as well as to resolve risks / issues during the course of projects to ensure project goals are achieved.

Responsibilities

• Leading IT work streams within large enterprise initiatives

• Aligning project expectations and managing key stakeholders of Technology projects

• Facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables

• Defining project-level tasks and resource requirements

• Working with other Project and Program Managers to identify and manage cross-functional impacts and dependencies

• Working within and across IT and business teams to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule for major system releases

• Tracking deliverables using MS Project and other appropriate tools

• Managing, and appropriately escalating, project delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes

• Developing and presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions to project team, IT leadership, and key stakeholders

• Uses technical acumen to enable removal of impediments and ask probing questions

• Managing and tracking project health, financials, and other KPIs in relation to the plan and published progress reports

Working knowledge of:

Theoretical and practical aspects of project management

MS Project and other standard project management software and tools

Integration of 3rd party vendor SAAS solutions

Project Management Office. Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of work experience, with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility
  • Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience on complex Information Technology initiatives
  • PMP and/or Scrum Master certification (preferred)
  • Experience with software IT implementation (preferred)
  • English is a must/ Arabic prefered
